Currently Reading...

This afternoon I checked out about 8 books from my library. 3 childrens' books, 1 book about making slipcovers for living room furniture, and 2 biographies about Clyve Staples (C.S.) Lewis. I think I actually experience an adrenaline rush on my way into the library. Have I mentioned that I love books?

Here's a quote my Hubby emailed me today. I think it's so...good.
"In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were real women and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri." — Douglass Adams

In case you've never read any Douglass Adams before, check out The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Good stuff, but pretty random.

  3. I started reading that book before the movie came out this past year. And then, every day, I went to the bookstore and bought the next book in the series (having stayed up late the night before reading to the end of the previous book). And then I realized that the story was far too amusing and strange to be captured in a movie. How in the world did Douglass Adams come up with this stuff
